Error guide
Code overview
Quick answer — E0 on an Asko tumble dryer is a control unit failure. The manual says to switch the dryer off and on again and call service.
Control unit failure.
Model note: ASKO reuses codes across series and model years, so E0 Control unit failure may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm against your model’s documentation and record the full model number before acting.
- Error code: E0 Control unit failure
- Appliance: Dryer
If a program is running when something goes wrong, the dryer shows Error X. E0 is the entry for control unit failure on the TD85.11XX and TD86 tumble dryers.
What the manual says
Hold down the INFO button (the OK button on the TD86) to read the description of the error. Switch the dryer off and turn it back on. The “what to do” column for E0 reads: call service centre.
Other dryer errors in the same table:
- E2: communication error
- E1: thermistor error
- E4: also called control unit failure, but the manual tells you to clean the filters
