What the manual says
Start with a restart: switch the dryer off, turn it on again, and use INFO (TD85.11XX) or a long press of OK (TD86) to read the text. The action printed next to E2 is to call a service centre.
Similar-looking codes
E12 is also about communication, between the user interface and electronics. E10 is an EADBS communication error, and E11 is a motor communication error.
