E22, sometimes shown as E22.1, is a door lock error. On the Asko WM85.1 and WM75.B washers it means the door is closed, yet the machine cannot lock it.

- Close the door again.
- Turn the washing machine off.
- Restart the washing program.
When E22 is shown again, the manual says a service technician should be called.
